The trial of a man accused of possessing 6,000 hits of LSD and selling doses at a 2006 String Cheese Incident concert began Wednesday.
Undercover officers arrested Benjamin Thomas Schaeffer in a parking lot across from the Asheville Civic Center on the night of the Oct.6 show.
According to the article:
“Asheville police were conducting surveillance because the jam band had a reputation for attracting illegal drug users to its concerts, the prosecutor said.”
