A man was shot early Saturday morning at Pisgah View Apartments, according to an Asheville Police Department press release. Police say they’re investigating.
According to the release, the victim was shot three times in front of building 27 at Pisgah View. Police received a call at 2:40 a.m. regarding the shooting.
Witnesses told police that the victim, a friend of the victim and possible suspects in the shooting had been fighting earlier in the night at the Happy Days club on Patton Avenue, and had been told to leave the premises, according to the news release.
