Asheville Music School: Open house Thursday, Nov. 7, at new downtown Asheville site
The Asheville Music School is happy to announce an Open House at its new facility in downtown Asheville.
We will be celebrating our positive changes at our Open House, Sunday, November 7, from 2-4 pm. All are encouraged to stop in for a tour and to meet the faculty at 101 S. Lexington Ave. Parking is free in our big parking lot. Music and refreshments will be provided. Those signing up for lessons will receive our T-shirt for free.
The Asheville Music School has been in operation teaching private lessons since 1996 and is the largest school of its kind in the region with almost 300 students. Lessons are taught for voice and all instruments. With over 25 instructors, there is excellent diversity within the faculty, offering lessons at all levels and for most genres of music. After having been located on Charlotte Street since its inception, the school moved downtown this summer behind the Orange Peel.
The Asheville Music School went into business with Anne Coombs to open the Asheville Music School West in spring of 2010. This facility offers lessons on piano, voice, guitar, drums, fiddle, mandolin and more. AMS-West has 14 faculty members and is located at 1408 Patton Ave (just east of Haywood Rd).
For more information or to schedule lessons, call the Asheville Music School.
