The Chamber Choir From N. Buncombe High Invited to Perform at Carnegie Hall

The Chamber Choir from North Buncombe High School has been invited to perform at Festival at Carnegie Hall in New York City, one of the premier music festivals in the world. Only select choirs, bands, and orchestras are invited to perform in this world-renowned venue during the Festival at Carnegie Hall.
Under the direction of Jeannie Graeme, the ensemble was awarded a Gold rating for a superior performance during the New York Heritage Festival, earning them an invitation to perform at Carnegie Hall in 2011 or 2012.
Over the past year, thousands of students from hundreds of schools have competed for the opportunity to perform at our Festival at Carnegie Hall and Festival of Gold. This elite performance opportunity showcases only the best music ensembles from around the country. Festival at Carnegie Hall brings ensembles to one of the most musical cities in the world. With a rich history of producing diverse and acclaimed artists, New York City is the perfect place to take music programs to the next level.
