According to the Asheville Citizen-Times, the Asheville Police have taken out warrants for Curtis Andrew Wallace Jr., of Riverview Drive, West Asheville for the armed robbery of Sun Trust Bank on Haywood Road yesterday.

FROM THE APD:

On Wednesday, 12-28-11, after extensive follow-up from community tips, APD Detectives were able to develop probable cause to issue warrants for the arrest of Curtis Andrew Wallace, W/M, 07-02-90; of 390 Riverview Dr. in West Asheville.

Warrant issued is for Robbery w/ a Dangerous Weapon of the Suntrust Bank located at 700 Haywood Rd.

Mr. Wallace is known to frequent the West Asheville area. Anyone with any information as to Mr. Wallace’s whereabouts is urged to contact APD at 252-1110 or crimestoppers at 255-5050.
