North Carolina is fortunate enough to share these beautiful mountains with our sister states of West Va, Ky, Tn and Va., but we dont have the coal they do. And you can see the difference in our economies.

We are also connected to this issue as the top user of this type of coal for our electricity. You can view your connection by typing in your zip code on iLoveMountains.org.
