Here's an excerpt from the Asheville Citizen-Times article:

City police arrested a well-known downtown restaurant owner and charged him with hitting a city parking services worker in the head.

Hector Diaz, one of the city’s culinary stars, was charged Thursday with misdemeanor assault on a female. ...

He was released on a $2,000 bond. His court date is set for Feb. 7.
