Amazon cloud failure brings down Reddit, flipboard and other sites

Trying to reddit this afternoon? Good luck. An apparent failure in the Amazon cloud system has brought the popular site – along with many others, including parts of MountainX.com – down to a crashing halt.

One of the freshest comments seen on twitter this afternoon, which is apparently not affected, was "Reddit down. NASA productivity up 2000%"
