ART adjusts bus routes C & N effective Nov. 1
Here's the press release form the city of Asheville:

ASHEVILLE – The City of Asheville’s ART (Asheville Redefines Transit) system will make permanent route adjustments to Route N and Route C beginning Nov. 1st. These changes, which result in additional stops, are being made as part of the City’s commitment to continuous improvement and come in part from suggestions from senior riders and riders with disabilities as to how we can improve access to these routes. ART will continue to improve our routes to better meet the needs of the public.

New schedules can be obtained at http://www.ridetheart.com or at the ART Station on Coxe Ave.

N – Montford – Downtown – MLK – Charlotte – Grove Park Inn

Starting on November 1, 2012, route N will change its routing by going to the ART Station twice an hour. This change will allow one new bus-stop on Haywood St. at College St.

C – Louisiana – Haywood – State – Amboy – Biltmore Village – Fairview – Swannanoa River Rd – Wood

Starting on November 1, 2012, route C will change its routing to serve the corner of Pearson Bridge Rd. at Bingham Rd.

This change will allow for three new bus-stop locations:

· Adams Hill Rd. at Pearson Bridge Rd.

· Pearson Bridge Rd. at Bingham Rd.
