Asheville Art Museum recruiting travelers for art excursion to New York

The time to register for this one-of-a-kind
Museum experience is now!
Deadline: January 6, 2013

The Asheville Art Museum offers a variety of art excursions domestically and abroad, as well as local and regional day trips designed to enhance Museum members' and visitors' experiences with inspiring, contemporary art.

In June 2013 the Museum will guide travelers on an exciting five-day trip (four nights) in the Hudson River Valley and three nights in New York City, with two mornings of art organized for your enjoyment. The trip will also allow time to explore on your own. This trip will be led by the Asheville Art Museum's Executive Director, Pam Myers.

Travelers will enjoy extraordinary art and cultural experiences including:
The Frances Lehman Loeb Art Center at Vassar College
Dia : Beacon
Olana (the Persian style castle and studio of Frederick Edwin Church)
Manitoga (the Russel Wright Design Center)
Storm King Art Center and Sculpture Park

As is customary with Museum-led trips, travelers will enjoy exclusive visits to private collections, galleries and artist studios, cocktails, and great meals, including dining experiences at the Culinary Institute of America, and much more.

Trip price (per person): $3,675*
*Price includes a $300 tax-deductible donation to the Museum
There is an additional fee of $1,000 would be needed for a single supplement, if so desired.
