Blue America launches fundraising drive for Keever
Here's the message from 10th District congressional candidate Patsy Keever, via her campaign's email newsletter:

I have some exciting news: this week, our friends over at Blue America have launched a key fundraising drive for our campaign. They are giving key supporters like you a chance to help us defeat Congressman McHenry as well as an exciting chance to win an extremely rare and valuable RIAA-certified double platinum record award for the Eric Clapton/B.B. King masterpiece, called RIDING WITH THE KING.

Only a small handful of these special platinum record awards were made and for as little as $5, you could own a piece of music history — and help us restore common-sense values to Washington.

We need a leader in Congress who is committed to fight to protect Social Security and Medicare, not destroy it. We need someone who will fight to cut taxes for middle class families, not the wealthiest one percent. I am that leader for the people of North Carolina and I am ready to take the fight to Congressman McHenry on these key issues over the next 57 days left until the November 6th Election.

With folks like you — and our friends at Blue America — on board, I know that we have a real shot at winning this race in November. Now we just have to build a winning campaign!

Thank you for everything,

— Patsy Keever
