On Thursday, Nov. 15, Diamond Brand Outdoors (2623 Hendersonville Road) holds a fundraiser to benefit the ongoing programs of Diana Wortham Theatre. According to a press release, "Step Out & Shop at Diamond Brand Outdoors to benefit Diana Wortham Theatre, with a one-night storewide 20% savings, live entertainment by jazz trio Jazzville, prizes, and Luella’s Bar-B-Que dinner sales benefiting the theatre." 5-8 p.m.

This event comes just in time for Diamond Brand customers to shop for their new fall favorites at the night’s 20% discount while enjoying great food and great music, all for a great cause.' In addition, all who attend the evening at Diamond Brand will enjoy the musical talents of Jazzville. Known for its straight ahead jazz and its take on timeless melodies from the American Songbook, Jazzville is featured regularly at the French Broad Chocolate Lounge in downtown Asheville.

"During the evening to benefit the theatre, savory dinner plates will be provided by Luella’s BBQ. The $8 per plate dinner includes a choice of pork BBQ or chicken BBQ on City Bakery buns with Sweet Pisgah or Scooters Vinegar Sauce. Along with the sandwich, the plate includes Calico baked beans, spicy vinegar slaw, corn bread, and Luella’s famous irresistible banana pudding. The entire proceeds from the sale of dinner plates will be donated to the Diana Wortham Theatre.
