ASHEVILLE, N.C. (Oct. 24, 2012) Mission Hospital confirmed today that fifteen middle school aged children and one adult were admitted into the Emergency Department this morning after an accident involving three Madison County school buses and one passenger vehicle.

„The children and the bus driver are all in stable condition,‰ said Susan Mims, MPH, MD, Vice President of Mission Children‚s Hospital. „Emergency responders worked quickly to transport the passengers to Mission Hospital and we were prepared for their arrival. There were several injuries, but thankfully none were life-threatening. Our mission is to provide exceptional care to the communities we serve and we are standing ready to do that.‰
