“Frack Activism” comes to WNC (fundraising event this Friday in Black Mountain)
Here's the press release from Clean Water for NC:

Join Clean Water for NC, the White Horse Black Mountain, NC Interfaith Power and Light, and the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the Swannanoa Valley for food, music, and an introduction to the impacts of "fracking" for natural gas. The program includes the Academy Award-nominated documentary GASLAND, music by Joe Hallock and friends, presentations on the current regulations on "fracking" for natural gas in NC, and how you can participate in grassroots efforts to keep our state free of this dangerous technology.

When: Friday, March 30 from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. (potluck dinner at 6:30)
Where: White Horse Black Mountain, 105 Montreat Rd. (directions)
Tickets: $5.00 at door; donations accepted, too!

Volunteers needed! Please e-mail katie@cwfnc.org if you can help with any of the following:
Post flyers in your neighborhood and around town
Share the Facebook event on your wall and with your friends
Come early to the event (6:00) to help set up*
Pass around sign-up sheets or take photos during the event*
*CWFNC will cover your entrance cost ($5.00) if you sign up to help at the event!
