Next weekend, Sunday, Oct. 28, the Friends of Hominy Creek Greenway Gathering and Membership Drive will be at the Altamont Brewing Company on Haywood Road. This new parkland is an amazing addition to our neighborhood community. Come celebrate it with us!

The Friends of Hominy Creek Greenway Gathering – A celebration of the Hominy Creek Greenway

Sunday, October 28th 3:00-6:00pm
The Altamont Brewing Company
1042 Haywood Road

Gather at 2pm at the Altamont parking lot for novice and family-friendly bike tours of the Greenway. Bike Loop starts and ends at the Altamont Brewing Company. Helmets required to participate.

Greenway Presentation: slide show, history of Asheville's newest park
Membership Drawing for prizes from local businesses
Kids Activity Area - Games & Sign painting for the Greenway
Local Food
