Ingles Taste of Local in Weaverville Fri, Sept. 21
Meet local producers and sample their fare through this Ingles event. Here are the details from the store:

Get a “Taste of Local” on Friday, Sept. 21 from 3:30 – 6pm at Ingles in Weaverville on Weaver Blvd. This free event, sponsored in part by ASAP (Appalachian Sustainable Agriculture Project), will spotlight some of the local farmers and vendors that supply Ingles and enable customers to meet and talk to them and sample some of their products. Walk around the store and sample produce from New Sprout Farms of Asheville, sprouts from Sunny Creek Farms of Tryon, bread from Wildflour Bakery in Saluda and Annie’s Bakery in Asheville as well as bison from Carolina Bison of Leicester. As many as 12 local farmers and vendors are expected to be present. The event will also include a free wine tasting of NC wines by Empire Distributors.
