Meals On Wheels wishes to publicly thank its outgoing board members who have completed their terms including retiring Board Chair, Brock Himan; former Vice-Chair, Fred Groce; Treasurer, Doug Tallent and Croom Beatty. Their years of service have helped shape the agency’s programs and services and made a difference in the lives of thousands of Buncombe County seniors.

Dianne Trammel, Executive Director says, “It’s always hard to see devoted Board members rotate off the Board. However, I’m looking forward to working with our new members who will bring fresh ideas and energy to the table. In addition to defining our vision and managing current challenges, we have some important events coming up, including our Plate Expectations Charity Auction on September 14, 2012, as well as other fundraisers and awareness events in 2013. We’re glad to have these talented individuals on our board!”
