Cathy Vance Agrella, Terry Gess and LJ Faulkner will read from their works in the next installment of Writers at Home, from UNC Asheville’s Great Smokies Writing Program (GSWP). All three are contributors to The Great Smokies Review, GSWP’s online literary journal. The reading is free and open to the public, and begins at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 21, at Malaprop’s Bookstore/Café, 55 Haywood St., in downtown Asheville.

Tennessee-born Cathy Vance Agrella is currently working on a new novel. Her writings, short stories, poems, book and art reviews have been published in the Asheville Citizen-Times, The Laurel Review and elsewhere.

LJ Faulkner, an Asheville native, whose career has spanned graphic design, marketing and business consulting, will read from her works.
