ASHEVILLE, N.C. – ADHD is the most common behavioral disorder diagnosed in children. But is not just a diagnosis that is given to children anymore. It is estimated that 85% of adults go untreated and misdiagnosed. One can experience symptoms such as depression, lack of sleep, inattentiveness, inability to focus and learning disabilities just to name a few. There are many current studies on the positive effects that mindfulness strategies have on people with ADHD.

Please join the ADHD Center for Success and Coach Rudy Rodriguez for this 4 seminar series in which mindfulness will be explored in several different areas of ADHD challenges.

EVENT SCHEDULE:

ADHD Discussion Series: Mindfulness Practice for ADHD

For many adults ADHD the core issue involves modulating attention and distractibility. This 4 session group will explore the practice of mindfulness in everyday life and share simple and practical strategies to practice everyday mindfulness. Participants will learn and discuss how to develop mindfulness strategies to apply to their everyday ADHD challenges. Group sessions and discussion will be tailored to the participants individuals needs.
Group limited to 10-15 people. Group facilitator is Rudy Rodriguez

When: Nov. 12, Dec. 10, Jan. 14 & Feb. 11 (second Monday each month), 5:30-7pm

Cost: $35 per session, $35 advance deposit required. Deadline for registration is: Nov. 7th

ADHD Center for Success offers clinical diagnosis, counseling, coaching and seminars for teens and adults, their family and friends. The center’s founder, Coach Rudy Rodriguez, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Intrinsic Coach®, has been working with ADD since 1981. Rudy is Professional Member of the Attention Deficit Disorder Association for Adults (ADDA), A Professional Member and Board Member of the (ACO) ADHD Coaches Organization and also sits on the Leadership Team of the Board of the ADHD Coaches Association.
