June 29, 2012 (Asheville, NC)—Connect Buncombe’s newest partners are REI Asheville along with the Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour through their Radical Reels Tour. Proceeds of the Asheville Radical Reels Tour on Monday, September 10 at the Carolina Cinema on Hendersonville Rd., will go to Connect Buncombe to support county-wide greenways in Buncombe County.

The Radical Reels Tour, now in its ninth year, continues to push boundaries with the best action sports films from the annual Banff Mountain Film Festival.

Connect Buncombe is the Buncombe County Government's outreach and involvement campaign for the greenways program managed by Buncombe County Parks, Greenways and Recreation Services Office (BCPGRS). The goal of Connect Buncombe is to make citizens aware of the beneficial impacts greenways will have on their County. The goal is to bring everyone together including businesses, non-profit groups and organizations to help create a countywide system of connected trails and greenways.
