Hendersonville, N.C. (June 27, 2012) – Park Ridge Health proudly announces that Deb Parce, R.N., C.W.O.N., is this year’s winner of “Nurse of the Year.” Leadership and team members at Park Ridge selected her for this recognition due to her “tireless dedication and selfless service to patients,” said Craig Lindsey, Chief Nursing Officer at Park Ridge Health. “Deb consistently goes above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that our patients receive world-class care,” he added.
Parce – a registered nurse certified in wound and ostomy care – has been at Park Ridge Health since 2008, but has been providing care in her specialty for 23 years. She started her career at Duke Medical Center in Durham, N.C., where she served as a registered nurse for 11 years prior to receiving her Master’s degree in Nursing at UNC Chapel Hill and her Wound and Ostomy certification at Emory University.
