‘He can run but he can’t hide’

Asheville—Today Rep. Patsy Keever challenged Congressman Patrick McHenry to debate her saying that, “Patrick McHenry’s positions are outside of the North Carolina mainstream. McHenry is even too extreme for many Republicans … let alone Democrats and Independents.”

Keever said she wants McHenry to accept the debate that both candidates have been invited to by local area radio stations.

Rep. Keever feels that it is crucial for the voters in her district to be given numerous opportunities to hear from both candidates. “There are clear policy differences between me and Patrick McHenry,” said Keever. “My campaign has already begun laying them out in a very direct way. I think a chance to hear from both of us on these issues and others will further clarify the choice that voters will be making this fall.”
