The Renaissance Asheville Hotel (31 Woodfin St.) has been undergoing quite the transformation, and announces today that the renovation includes the installation of a new farm-to-table restaurant called the Writer's Bistro. From PR Web, via Yahoo news:

Its new restaurant, the Writer’s Bistro, is a casual chic experience that recognizes the area’s rich literary history and offers a local farm-to-table menu ...The Writer's Bistro is a casual chic restaurant inspired by North Carolina’s rich literary history. Its private dining room can seat up to 40 for special events, while maintaining the flexibility for guests to pay individually. The Writer’s Bistro menu is inspired by farm-to-table, offering locally grown and raised ingredients.

'We are also proud to offer the local community an exciting new restaurant on par with Asheville’s fine dining spots, to enjoy drinks and dinner with their family and friends,' says Herman Turk, Regional Vice President for Windsor Management Services, which manages the Renaissance Asheville Hotel."
