The WNC Green Building Council and A-B Tech's Global Institute of Sustainablability Technologies are partnering to spotlight the practical and meaningful impacts of energy efficiency in homes by holding a competition. The Energy Savers Competition will challenge teams of three households to save the most energy during team based weatherization work days through the Neighbor Saves program (NeighborSaves.org).
Participants in Energy Savers will receive:
• $500 towards assessing and weatherizing their homes • Free Green Gauge (Yourgreengauge.org) Energy and Environmental Features Assessment • The team saving the most energy will win $100's in cash and prizes.
• Hundreds of dollars in savings on utility bills each year.
The biggest energy use LOSERS are in fact the WINNERS.
