"A major bank is set to close two of its mountain locations. Suntrust Bank says after the New Year they're closing up a branch in Asheville and a branch in Canton. ... The decision is not sitting well with customers. For those in Canton, the closest Suntrust to them is either in Waynesville or West asheville.
The branch closures also mean several employees are losing their jobs."
