Vance Craft Explosion event set for Sunday, Nov. 18

Press release

From Vance Elementary Parent Team
The fifth annual Vance Craft Explosion will be held on Sunday, November 18, at Vance Elementary School, 98 Sulphur Springs Road, 12-5 pm. The craft fair will have over 20 vendors including Herron Street Pottery, Roly Poly Crafts, Mug Monsters, Carrie Turner Photography, and Steam Funk Leather Emporium. Vendors will also donate an item for a raffle, giving raffle participants an opportunity to win beautiful crafted items. A complete list of vendors can be found at http://bit.ly/RKRUXb.

Fired Up! Creative Lounge will have holiday plates for kids to paint. After the craft fair, the plates will be taken them to the shop for firing, and then delivered back to Vance. These plates will make great personalized gifts for the holidays.

Proceeds from the Craft Explosion benefit the Vance Elementary Parent Team, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The Vance Parent Team is an active group of parents working together to provide quality education for children at Vance. Among other things, the Parent Team funds the Vance Peace Garden and garden coordinator, teacher grants and stipends, Teacher Appreciation week activities, and equipment for the school.
