I shot this music video for The Bayonets over several months. We began filming at one of their gigs at The Garage in Winston-Salem, NC. Several months later I filmed them recording their upcoming CD in Asheville at the beautiful Echo Mountain Recording studio. The Bayonets are based in NC and have a new CD to be released around March, 2012. ... The first time I heard their song "Ocean Apart" I was so inspired that I couldn't get it out of my head. ... The Bayonets wanted this music video to be a bit different than most (that got my attention right away since that is the way I like to work). They decided against telling a story and wanted lots of shots of them recording and performing. I wanted to keep the pace extremely fast with the images so we went with this style you see here.
