Asheville - On 02/11/2013, Investigators from the Asheville Police Department went to 21 Henrietta St to follow up on the reports filed by 46 year old Teresa Knapp and 39 year old Michael Timmons. The incident reports detail rape, harassment, and communicating threats against a Polk County man. Evidence found at the house and subsequent interviews conducted on Knapp and Timmons led investigators to charge both with numerous counts of filing false reports, perjury, and misuse of 911. The Polk County man, Edward Howard Jr. was in a past relationship with Knapp. Mr. Howard was not arrested.
