Brother Wolf Offers Free Spay/Neuter for Dogs

Thanks to a grant from PetSmart Charities, Brother Wolf Animal Rescue is offering 650 free dog sterilizations for any pet living in the 28715 zip code.

“This is a really good offer and one that will end when the grant monies run out,” says Denise Bitz, Executive Director of Brother Wolf Animal Rescue, a local No Kill shelter and rescue that secured the funds. “We really want to see pet owners in Candler take advantage of these free spay/neuter surgeries to help reduce the pet population in Western North Carolina.”

Residents living in Candler can call 828-575-2411 to obtain a voucher for one of the free sterilizations from Brother Wolf Animal Rescue. Vouchers may also be picked up at the BWAR Adoption Center, 31 Glendale Avenue in Asheville, any day from 9 am - 7 pm.

Surgeries will be performed at the Humane Alliance Spay/Neuter Clinic, 25 Heritage Drive in Asheville.
