Comments are great, specially the one about “man-boobs.” Hairy, saggy, c-cuo gynocomastic monstrosities. |

Asheville does not belong to the hippies, and even if it did, the topless protesters are not local hippies, they are outside agitators taking advantage of the cowards on city council, who BY THE WAY started all of this. By asking the NC Legislature to do their dirty work for them, they hope not to lose any of the hippies’ votes by playing the heavy. Did you hear that local libs, THE CITY COUNCIL STARTED THIS! Don’t mean to yell, but you don’t seem to want to hear it. And as an equal opportunity offender, both men AND women of Asheville, keep your ugly mammaries covered. Some of us are trying to eat here. |

How is this going to impact nursing mothers? And why are female nipples singled out? Let’s outlaw the showing of male nipples which have no purpose anyway.

I’m confused, I thought Republicans were for LESS government intrusion on our lives. |

A point that I have raised many times with those that support this use of the force of government to impose a particular moral view on others. The typical question I pose (so far, unanswered) is: What does any of this have to do with the mantra pushed by Republicans and other ‘conservatives’ about ‘limited government’ and ‘individual freedom’?

“What does any of this have to do with the mantra pushed by Republicans and other ‘conservatives’ about ‘limited government’ and ‘individual freedom’?” I guess you’d have to tell us how many Republicans and conservatives are on city council. |

Do you really need someone else to tell you that? And the topic is the GOP Nanny State bill in the House, not the faux progressives (for the most part) on City Council. |
