McDowell Hospital introduces Maureen Ben-Davies, MD, MPH, as the newest member of the team at McDowell Pediatrics. Dr. Ben-Davies is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.

Dr. Ben-Davies‚ passion for pediatric care is evident from the moment you meet her."
Before joining McDowell Pediatrics, Dr. Ben-Davies served as a Clinical Instructor in the department of pediatrics at UNC-Chapel Hill School of Medicine. She also worked as a consultant in food security research at RTI International in Durham, NC. She completed her residency in pediatrics at the University of Chicago Medical Center in Chicago, IL, and received her master's degree in public health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Gillings School of Global Public Health. She also earned her medical degree and her bachelor‚s degree from UNC-Chapel Hill.
