This two-day intensive appropriately named, Art Business Bootcamp: Shape up your business! will present expert speakers, lectures, educational materials, regional business partners, and individualized artist critiques. It is a wonderful opportunity for artists and arts business owners to take their business to the next level.
The focus of this two-day workshop is to provide artists and art business owners with specific tools to enhance their art business and expose them to information and a national perspective. Participants will learn from nationally-renowned instructors and experts, attend presentations and lectures, acquire valuable educational materials and resources, network with regional small business partners, and receive individual artist critiques.
The Art Business Bootcamp will feature the following instructors: Wendy Rosen, President of The Rosen Group; Carolyn Edlund, Executive Director of the Arts Business Institute; and Megan Auman, craft artist and entrepreneur. Topics discussed throughout the two days will include: Creative Marketing for Artists, Wholesale 101, Pricing for Profit, Who is Your Customer, Branding Yourself and Your Work, Selling Strategies for Artists, and Booth Design.
