  SA (8/17), noon-2pm - Trish Foxwell will present A Visitor’s Guide to the Literary South, which follows the southern journeys of renowned American writers such as Fitzgerald, Poe and Wolfe.

• Sat, August 10 : Writers at Wolfe Series: Vicki Lane

  SA (8/10), noon-2pm - Vicki Lane will present The Elizabeth Goodweather Appalachian Mysteries. She bases her writings on the farms, the woods and the people in her adopted mountain county.

• Fri, August 2 : Pickin' on the Porch

  FR (8/2), noon-2pm - Pickin' on the Porch will feature George and Brooke Buckner (Appalachian music). Free.

• Sat, July 13 : Writers at Wolfe Series: Ann Ross

  SA (7/13), noon-2pm - Ann Ross, author of the Miss Julia series, will discuss her sharp-tongued but soft-hearted famous character, Julia Springer of Abbotsville. The 14-book series is a southern favorite.

• Fri, July 5 : Pickin' on the Porch

  FR (7/5), noon-4pm - Pickin' on the Porch will feature Carol Rifkin and Paul’s Creek Band (vintage bluegrass and early country). Free.
