Anyone else out there read this book???

I read it awhile back and I just can’t get it out of my head.

I apply it to everything I see or read now.

I know I’m not the only one.....I’ve visited the web site.....but are there any of you locals out there feeling the same way???

Ah yes, Moby Dick. I loved that book. Had to read it in high school - 11th grade English class at Lee Edwards.

(I’m sure that’s not the Ishmael he means.)

Hehe....no not Moby Dick...although that is a good one as well.

I’m referring to Ishmael, by Daniel Quinn.  Along with My Ishmael, and The Story of B.

Check them out.

I have all of them in my collection! I think it was about 10 years ago that I read them. Mesmorizing. I go back to Ishmael from time to time and it keeps getting better.

yep,

ishmael is a good book. if not a little depressing.

“My Ishmael” is another good one. not as dark. same concepts. mother culture and whatnot

“Beyond Civilization” and tales of adam are very good, too.

and i like his graffiti (he he)
