We need a place to talk about what’s happening at all of our favorite blogs.

Here are a few of my regular reads to get us started:

AshVegas

Hangover Journals

So Much For Tact

jennifer saylor, freelance writer

Gordon Smith’s Blog (Formerly Scrutiny Hooligans)

stoplight haiku

and, for just plain visual (very little word committment), my own

zenography

I like AshVegas....sometimes I will read Scrutiny Hooligans also.  Those are two of the default ones that come with the free homepage you can get at ashevillehomepage.com

I’ll also flip through Blogasheville and TalkAsheville.com also and read different ones from time to time and sometimes I’ll run across that Bugg characters blog also :-)

I check Ashvegas and BlogAsheville almost daily. So, those are my best picks. They do a great job of keeping informed about life in the city.

I wish “A Girl Who Wears Glasses” would update more regularly. Practically every guy I know gets crushes on the mysterious women who work in bookstores.

Sure, but “A girl who wears non-slip shoes and an apron” doesn’t exactly flow off the tongue, does it?

No, but she brings me what I want and I only have to give her 20% to be nice. What more could I ask for?

You have a blog? Summarize it for me, please.

Imagine Otis Redding getting shitfaced with Jerry Lewis. In walks Grover Cleveland and Mick Jaggar in KKK outfits. Together they all go to Don Knots’ house and take a huge pee on Gordon Smith’s head.

I guess you can say that it’s bringing people together.

Bet you’re hoping it’ll be parodied by the Asheville Disclaimer - now That’s notoriety!

I’d read it. It’d be better than the Bugg/Rawal blog combat of 2006.

My blog has a leg up on the Disclaimer in that it’s actually funny and women have a genuine reason to be angry when reading it.
