Will Hillary Clinton keep her campaign rolling until the Convention, or can we expect her to drop out any moment now? Discuss.

I think it would be foolish for her to drop out at this point. While Obama is ahead in delegate totals, both candidates are neck and neck in the polls. I do believe Obama will get the nomination because he has the “buzz” but from a demographics perspective, Hillary has shown the ability to win in states that will prove to be decisive in the fall. Obama’s wins and lead have been mostly through caucuses which are activist driven. Even in NC, there was never any real question as to who would win so for some to suggest that it was the determining factor is not very well thought out. The Democrats have to hold the working middle class, whites and the elderly to have a solid coalition, in other words win a demographic such as WNC which Obama did not do by a long shot. Obama might be able to pull it off but McCain is also strong with those same demographics. Hillary demonstrated she can draw them (at least among Democrats) especially with 65% of the white Democrat vote in both NC and Indiana going her way. If Hillary drops out, those same demographic groups will have to recognize that their party has continuously moved to the left in each of the last three Presidential elections. That is pleasing to the left and the activist wng of the party but it does not sit well with that middle America that elects Presidents. Again, Obama might be able to “fool ‘em again”, but Hillary represents that Democrat middle, at least in appearance. That should be the discussion among Democrat Party elders but unfortunately for the party, it is not.

Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton is the only hope for the democratic party. Exit polls show that if Senator Barak Hussein Obama is the nominee, that 50% of the Kentucky, Pennsylvania and West Virginia voters will vote for the republican, Senator John McCain. The average democrat will not vote for an elitist who has very little experience in national politics. If the democrats had the same rules as the republicans, Senator Clinton would have been annointed long ago. She has won all the big states except for Illinois. It’s ironic that the party that calls itself the party of the people has such a convoluted “super delegate” system of electing it’s nominee. Our party doesn’t trust the average citizen. What a joke.

Hillary should stay in. After the super delegates take a good look at the numbers, they just may make the best choice and throw their support behind the only electable democrat...Hillary.

Right, because a good percentage of those who voted for Hillary are Republicans who will be voting for McCain in the fall regardless. Operation Chaos probably won Hillary the Penn primary (http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/home/daily/site_031208/content/01125108.guest.html), and has certainly given her a boost in states like Kentucky and WV that have a large Republican constituency. If this is hillary’s “Mandate”, then she isn’t even a Democrat anymore. She is more of a neo-con than McCain. I wouldn’t be too surprised if they still vote for her in the general election, since her presidency will promote more distractionary bickering than either of the other two.

Plus, I’d love to see a SExit poll. sexxxy.

Operation Chaos was nothing but a radio play for the purpose of creating a buzz around Limbaugh’s show. There are no significant numbers of Republicans out there who have voted for a Democrat to stir trouble. It is telling however that Democrats are worked up about it.

Mr t, remember now, posnideus, alias Mr e, lives under a bridge in a camping situation. He lives outdoors, but, no, “he doesn’t get out much” as far as common social interaction goes.

Does Hillary have a future? I’d say yes. Senator John Sidney McCain, US Navy Commander Ret, will pick her as his running mate. I kid you not. The first rule in politics is “get elected”. What better way for McCain to get elected than choose her as a running mate? Senator Barack Hussein Obama will likely choose Biden or Dodd, or other such “safe” boring choices.

McCain/Hillary 2008! A ticket that will work!

I am, without uncertainty, not Eli Cohen or entopticon.

You, though, are most definately the previously banned “Nam Vet”.

My name is David. I have never hidden that fact. You name is very unlikely “William”, just as you are very unlikely to be an actual “Nam ‘Vet.”

Good to see you have a sense of humor.  Tell you something, whatever your name is, if McCain picks Clinton, Obama wins in a landslide.  No way Republicans are going to risk put another Clinton a heart beat away from the presidency. What sort of hallucinogen have you been using anyhow, LSD?

Au contrare TomH. Rush Limbaugh sent out his listeners this democrat campaign season to specifically vote for Hillary...in order to keep the end-fighting going. Rush’s idea was successful beyond his own expectations. Hillary hung in there a lot longer than she would have because of Rush. She made a play for common sense folks by agreeing to an interview on Fox. fair and balanced, with Bill O’Reilly. He was respectful, and she answered well. She knew she was getting voters from his listeners and, to her credit, she went for it.

Hillary is still alive! Watch for McCain to make her his VP!
