my younger friends have been trying to tell me to ignore it, but i just couldnt help it. Obammer just seemed so cool. Now, with this choice for VP, and every new press conference, I see him with clearer eyes. This all seems so pre-scripted. The Good-Cop, Bad Cop of “Republican/Democrat” nonsense.

I still like Obama, but Biden sure seems like some BS to me.

He could have done worse, I suppose. I was kind of hoping he’d bury the hatchet with Clinton and name her in a JFK/LBJ move. That, or someone like Gen. Wesley Clark.

I’m not disappointed, really, just underwhelmed. Maybe that’s the point. Biden isn’t exactly going to overshadow him.

I never rally warmed up to Hillary, great bone of contention around here with my wife.  I also don’t care much for Bill though he is certainly a smart guy, well educated, well spoken, but a tad too centrist for me, I’ve discovered.  I paid little attention to his administration, to be truthful, but after the fact, when I became aware of NAFTA and his support for it..what to say, I’m a union man and feel NAFTA has been a big disappointment.

As for choosing Hillary as VP, have no clue why she would want it.  Expectations would be that she might hold a lot of sway in the White House.  No way would this serve an Obama presidency.  Though Biden has run for the office twice (?) I don’t see him as possessing the same naked lust for power.  He will serve in the post with distinction and keep his disagreements with Obama behind closed doors.  Not sure the Clintons could be trusted to do that. It would be in her heart and the hearts of her avid supporters to have her called Madam Co-President.

In any case, give Bill a top cabinet post if you like but keep Hillary in the Senate where she will shape up to be a major force to be reckoned with.  Be nice to see her replace Casper Milquetoast (Harry Reid) as majority leader.  Be nice to see Bill smiling at foreign dignitaries and helping to rebuild our reputation with our allies.

Obama the plagiarist chose the other plagiarist for his running mate. How anticlimactic. And how stupid. It is the death knell for Obama’s campaign. He has actually lost 2 points in polling since choosing Biden.

Stick a great big fork in the candidacy of Osama Hussein Obama, Junior, the inexperienced, gravitas-lacking, possibly Kenyan-born Muslim, birth-certificate hiding, Affirmative Action Candidate. It’s done. The final nail is set in the coffin of Obama’s quest for the White House.

Obama picked the walking-talking-gaffe-machine Joe “Chi-Chi-Chi-Chiden” Biden as his VP. You don’t think this is the death knell for The Meccachurian candidate? Say it with me..."Vice President Biden.”

Biden’s own words about Obama: “He’s not ready to be president.”

Biden’s own words: “I would be honored to run [with] John McCain.”

Wasn’t talking about him. And I don’t think anyone would describe him as “mythical”.  Unless you mean the definition:

MYTHICAL:” Lacking factual basis or historical validity”

Then, yeah.

After the convention has been going on in Denver for 3 days now, McCain has overcome Obama and is leading by one point. Hum, we need for someone in the DNC to keep the wraps on our candidate. The more people get to know our Obama, the more they don’t like him. The idiots! Who cares if he was brought up as a Muslim. Who cares if he sat in church for 20 years with a preacher who screamed hatred for whitey and said the US government invented AIDS to get rid of black people. Who cares if Obama got a mansion in a rich section of Chicago with the help of a convicted felon financier and bagman for the democrat Chicago machine. Who cares if Obama is buddies with William Ayers, an SDS Weather Underground bomber who blew up buildings and tried to kill people. What is important is he is for CHANGE!

Barack obama’s only chance was to pick Hillary Clinton. He picked someone who gave him 0 bounce. In fact, Obama has lost ground the last 3 days. Get used to saying “President John McCain”.

Biden was the wrong choice and it will come back to haunt Obama.

We like him, always have.  My daddy was Catholic Irish blue collar.  He’s my kind of people.  Did y’all notice, they have almost the same nose?
