Who’s got it?

On the days i need a coffee fix, i enjoy a shot in the dark from the original Dripolator in BM, or maybe one from Jason Buggs old coffeeshop. What was it called? anyway, i like those two spots for good coffee. I also always hear that the former Gold Hill has/had good cofee.

So, what do ya’ll think?

Where the good coffee in WNC?

I really like Firestorm’s coffee. It’s a cool place, too.

So, you grow your own coffee? Or just steal it from the store?

I thought Bugg’s old spot *was* the former Gold Hill (now known as Cafe ‘Ello)?

In any case, the coffee and atmosphere there is pretty good these days - I enjoy it a few times a week.  Their “breakfast sandwiches” also rock.

I’ve been meaning to check out Firestorm - have been hearing good things.

Actually, I meant the Clingman Cafe. It’s fun to drink espresso and watch the trains roll by.

He used to work at Gold Hill, too?

I missed that era.

Where is firestorm?

I think it’s where the short-lived “Eaties” used to be…kind of a strange location sort of behind Patton near Pritchard Park.

kay - here’s the google map (Commerce St):

also their website:

like I said, I’ve been hearing good things about the place - just haven’t made it there yet.

I don’t get out much.

You asked where the best in town was. That’s my opinion. You didn’t say I had to distribute it for ridiculous profit.

I get good beans from Fresh Market.
