I just don’t see how you could enjoy BSG on the computer Steve.

I have it commercial-free in HD widescreen on a 19” laptop I can watch in bed. What’s not to enjoy?

I thought I didn’t miss tv at all.  You had to bring up Cuevas’ hair.  I haven’t found that on the web.  Otherwise, Hulu and such do for me.  Usually, I find a show I like and then watch several episodes.  It was “ER” this week.  People keep mentioning “The Office”, so I’ll take a look at that .  Is “30 Rock” the same show with John Lithgow as an alien professor that was on years ago?  Hilarious!

l like watching what I want, when I want.  News on the web has more choices.  I can see more than one side of a story.

Nope, 30 Rock is the Tina Fey show with Alec Baldwin that mirrors a behind-the-scenes SNL show that is sometimes a bit manic, but pretty funny overall.

I still watch the History/Discovery/Nat Geo channels when they’re not doing Aliens, Nostrodamus, Bigfoot or ‘Reality’ shows that aren’t real.

That and Flight of the Conchords on HBO.

Us po chuckers can ill afford any entertainment other than TV.  We’ve got a 40” HD/TV with Direct TV and HD/ DVR to aid in circumventing the commercials and freeing us up to choose when we watch our favorite shows, plus HBO so we can watch Bill Maher every week when he’s on.  I love the way he bashes religion.  He’s the man!

I don’t have cable—haven’t in 15 years. TV bores me, for the most part. That said, I have watched all of BSG on DVD. What I like about DVDs and now, computer access, is that if I do want to watch something, I can do it on my schedule, not the network’s.

I saw that EM had posted in this thread and I knew she’d have something bad to say about television.  Perhaps next she’ll write a post praising NPR.

I listen to NPR on my computer too. I’m a digital guy in an analog world.

Cool it. We’re here to make fun of TV, not each other.

No cable or satellite, but I download everything and probably watch more TV than someone with cable and satellite.
