Just to bring us all up to speed, here’s how the punishment progression will work for users who are making the forums a not-fun place to be.

1. When a poster goes significantly off topic or starts to turn the thread around for their own entertainment, a mod will correct them in the thread first.

2. If the thread derail keeps up, the posts will be edited and a PM warning may be sent.

3. If that doesn’t fix it, and if the poster still won’t behave or is sassing back to the mod, the mod is well within their rights to request a probation or ban.

4. The punishment progression will go roughly like this: Warning in thread—> Warning in PM—> One day probation—> Three day probation—> One week probation—> Ban—> Permaban of IP address.

When I want to vibrate, I simply have an extra cup of coffee in the morning.

I think that’s more than reasonable as a warning schedule.
