i have tried many option, some jpg, some gif, all within the given size parameters. I actually even tried to use yours, just a a test, but to no avail.

hmmm…you’re right…I just tried to upload one myself and got the same error.
I would give it until monday when the webmaster person can investigate.

I’ve had that happen before, too. I’ll look into it.
Again, our forum software has some known issues, so it may or may not be fixable for a while.

Yeah, I keep getting the same: “An error was encountered while attempting to assign your image” error when I try to upload any image as well.

I keep getting “unsubscribed” from threads. here I am waiting for a reply to one of my pithy and humorous observations figuring that no one has the intellectual muscle to respond, yet when I return to said thread I see that 10-20 additional posts have already been added. what gives?
