This song is so wonderful. It’s the only one I can think of that really sums up how I feel about life and death.

I don’t want any songs at my funeral. Everyone should be too sad and devastated to enjoy music of any kind. They should only be able to briefly rise from their strictures of grief long enough to agree that I “would have wanted it this way.”

DAMMIT! I hadn’t seen this thread till now and as soon as I did I couldn’t wait to post this. This is the song I’ve told every one of my family members I wanted played, but I want the Johnny Cash version (though the Bill Monroe version is incredible). Maybe you and I should die together.
