Zambras tonight

Tonight I had the Georgia roast quail accompanied by a rabbit/pepperoni scotch egg surrounded by a moat of gastrique with a drizzle of ancho sauce

mmm sounds uh yummy. 

want some good quick food and alot of it? eat at the moose cafe.  fridays all you can eat fish and shrimp with two sides and corn bread plus those yummy biscuts with apple butter.

i like the moose cafe, but all you can eat there is the equivalent of 2 days of food for me ....

quail forces you to eat slowly and savor the little bites ....

every so often at limones they have a fish stew that is out of this ####ing world

I keep thinking about Tomato Jam, it’s been too long since I have gone.  Meatloaf Wednesdays are my fav.

sweet bavarian shredded kraut with scrambled eggs ?

I have no idea what sweet bavarian shredded kraut is. The kraut i make is very different than the “bubbies” crap people buy at the store. Dont think limp and lifeless. think crisp and alive! Just cabbage and garlic and onions, still got a little krunch to it. Fry up some eggs and pour some kraut on top. Yum!

Honestly, i know a lot of my friends eat this too. I had no idea so many people find this odd.

Ah so we’re not talking nasty in a plastic bag kraut that sits in some sort of juice.  I guess I could see that.  I know a few people who eat kale with their eggs.

When I grew up my father covered his eggs in ketchup.  Now that is nasty.  Now I see him cover them in Texas Petes.  I eat spinach and mushrooms omletes they help keep by blood sugar low in the morning.

i eat kippers and eggs slathered in hot sauce

i eat fresh spinach omelets with hot thai peanut sauce

I might make some kraut this year myself .... some chopped hungarian hot peppers, some black label,

Much better. I don’t like the taste of salt, so the kippers are kind of revolting to me.
