tatts-
sounds like something that might merit a well-deserved night out for Mr. Y and myself - where is this cafe you speak of?

So not to question you, but was the name spelled correctly?  Did a quick search to no avail. How were the prices?

i thought that was the name ... it is brand new so this may be a “soft” opening and a web site is coming soon ... go with the name starts with p and next to 1896 .....

regarding prices ... i found it very reasonable

but of course nothing is too expensive if involves the right woman and the right moment ...

Thanks tattttms.  The saffron scallops sound delicious.  I like the idea of an ever-changing menu with basically a tapas/appetizer menu.  I understand there are others out there, but variety is good and they seem to have a bit of a unique angle.  On the rare occasion my wife and I get to have a night out sans kids, something like this would be great.  Interested to see how they do over the next year.

thanks, tatttms!
you’ve given us a couple great recommendations now for a dinner out…I’m excited to try ‘em both out, now.
That panini sandwich sounds like da bomb.

the sandwich shop is just a take out spot, but yuck can still take you on an adventure ... grab the panini and picnic on one of the boulders in the river in hickory nut gorge ... never have to leave 74a
