I’ve come to enjoy some of the epic miniseries. Presently watching a rerun on DTV’s 101HD of Deadwood and am working on the final episode of the original “Lonesome Dove”. One thing that’s changed in the past two or three years is a run of really fine off season stuff like Mad Men, the Closer and Burn Notice. I like the last two because they are crime dramas with a comedic twist, a refreshing change from the blood and gore of CSI.
Did anyone else see “The Lost Room” and really want that to be a series?
Was that the one on Sci Fi, with the dude from Six Feet Under with all teh objects that had wired powers? If so, I loved that mini-series, thought is was freakin’ brilliant.
Still working on Lonesome Dove. TommyleeJones just failed at telling ricky shroeder he is his dad, before he rode off into the horizon…
just completed a Lil’ Bush Marathon. season 2 rules you. especially episode 201 about the democrats inclusive st patties day parade and the lil cronies desire to keep the gay lesbian midgets out…
Okay, so I finally bought the entire series of “Battlestar Galactica” on DVD (it even came packaged with a cool Cylon action figure) and started watching it last night, but there don’t seem to be any episode breaks. Did they just run all the shows together or was the first episode really 3 hours long?
