Problem solved! Thanks to all for guidance and support. I did the protocol on the website Will sent me to. I got to the “running the bitdefender online scan” and got the blue screen of death. Ooops..took it to csc, and increased the power supply and got decontaminated. Caught a virus from a wma file on limewire! What was my daughter thinking? But I can now access gmail! yeah
