The official Carolina Stompers vs. The World debate thread

There’s quite a debate raging between the Carolina Stompers and the world. Everybody wants to debate everyone. In the latest round, Chad Nesbitt of the Stompers has challenged the Buncombe County Democratic Party to a debate.

Nesbitt wants to debate the war on terror, the economy, the future of Buncombe County, homosexuality and more.

Will the debate happen? Who will moderate? Who will represent? I’d love to see it happen.

Why are we paying attention to these silly little men? They are all just posturing and trying to get attention.

Are they called the Carolina Stompers because they like to stomp on the sensibility of Carolinians?

According to their website, it is a reference to “stomping out corruption.”

There is quite a good deal of exaggeration in the opening post. Nice job of poisoning the well by positioning the “stompers” as being opposed to everybody (world). I am curious to know who or what group started the silly idea of a debate?

Has anyone else noticed that the elephant in their logo is cross eyed?

I thought it was kind of funny at first. But it starts to look sad after a minute… That poor misguided, retarded elephant…
