To each his/her own. Just approaching what’s out there as what I consider reasonable centrist, poking at all sides. Trying to avoid the Garafalo/O’Reilly fringe position that gets you stuffed into a shitbox full of self righteous sychophants. If it’s out there I’m going to try to take a shot at it. If it doesn’t work for you? That’s cool. Humor isn’t universal. It is ironic however that you note my shit as watered down when, the fact is, we wouldn’t be having this dialogue if you hadn’t been moved to strike out in the first place.
PS on the “marginally” bit…. since I’ve been picked up by the world’s largest comic syndicate and slated for release next month, I don’t plan on holding this modest sideline seat for long. But, who knows. Maybe it’s all vapor. But be sure to wish for continued marginalization.
Dug it…Are you a local boy? What a town..People who don’t do comedy don’t have a clue as to what it takes to make the funny happen…I worked in a comedy troupe for 7 years in S. California where the competition is way fierce. Some nights you make um laugh and you feel like god and some nights they make you cry and you feel like god hates you.. Cud dos to those who make the funny…we need you now more than ever.

Thanks! Sorry if I get defensive or crabby. The fact is I’m doing my animated TV commercials during the day and trying like hell to hit 3 topical sketches a week between the hours of 11PM and 4AM when the editors for “The Daily Buzz” (a syndicated morning show out of Orlando) get in and (hopefully) work me into the show. I’ve been getting in about 60-80% of the time and when I do it spikes the web site. Again, sorry about the overkill responses.
