Seriously, I try to pay attention to the big soccer goings on, this was just eclipsed by the month long Indy 500 happenings. I do find their adoration for their footballers to be offputting (that and the occasional riot). None the less, I can’t wait for World Cup.
Anyway, I thought their mascot was Vodafone or Unicef or something.

I could find you 25 examples of soccer riots and violence over the past 5 years. Could you do the same for, say, the entire history of American football?
yeah but there are a bajillion fans ... based on incidence per fan ... who knows ....
I’ll bet more nfl players have killed their wives or had them killed or run someone over while drunk or assaulted someone or been part of a murder in their entourage ... than futbol players in europe or around the world ...
