too bad henin retired ... womens tennis sucks without a true all court player at the top .... when the brainless bludgeoning girls keep winning ... the younger girls use that as a model to win ... look how ugly the points are for the women .... very little creativity in developing points ...

for historic reasons I would like to see fed play inspired tennis and crush soderling ... i mean if you are going to win a personal slam and tie the record for the most GS titles ... I would like to see him do it playing great tennis and not his current just good enough to squeek by the likes of Haas ....

plus if it goes 5 sets then I wont be able to go hiking tomorrow at noon ....

well today Roger Federer took the French Open title !

Two of the more interesting things of the blowout match was the strange French jester guys rushing the court and watching Fed cry before he even won the match.

i have no clue about the jester ... probably a swiss resistance representative .... fighting neutrality worldwide .....

I knew Fed would cry if he won this victory is the most meaningful of his life and it was so hard fought .... not only Nadal but critics and players really stepping up and making him play 5 set matches ... Haas hasn’t played that well in years ....

So the jester guy was holding a Barcelona soccer flag, bringing tattttms’ world sport interest full circcle…in a way. 
It was a pretty funny incident watching the replay.  At first Fed was scared, then recovered with a look of “oh, it’s just a freak”, then to get yourself and your hat the #### away from me.  Great tackle on the other side of the net by the cop.

you noticed the barca flag .... a rowdy bunch still celebrating the CL cup win ....
